This form of 'Green Energy' seems most logical. I don't see how a few complainers can bring this project to a grinding halt, especially in light of the fact that there is an historical element to this project. The generation of power from this location seems to be a logical extension of what was done in the past. Coupled with the fact that this is a truly 'Green' project, it is a real wonder that this project is meeting such opposition. This is precisely the type of power generation that true environmentalists should be supporting, rather than attacking. The social benefits FAR outweigh the falsely percieved negatives (i.e. The Falls will be irreparebly changed), because this misconception is simply NOT true. The Falls will always be there. To build this plant seems a small matter when considering our nations energy future. We should be considering more such projects that ever decrease our dependance on foreign energy imports, NOT stifiling them.
